I don’t exactly know what it is about this book, I started to read and listen at the same time, because I really like Jack Calihan’s voice, but I don’t know,.. I love the troupes in this book, stalker, possessive mmc, .. but it doesn’t seem very well written , a bit weak in comparison to other authors, and all the talking about “the order” was boring and confusing, sometimes I wasn’t sure if this was a fantasy book or a mafia book, not very defied, and I never thought I would say this but the chapters were too short, at least the ones with spice in them, all seemed very rushed and hurried, the description of the spicy scenes were average at best, sorry but this is a pass for me on this author.
