No one at theater school knew Martin was rich, not at first, not for most of the many weeks we learned and acted together…not until after the final three act plays were performed—then Michael had a cast party....

Why and how I was part of this sparkling older group, I am not sure…. Looking back, I am realizing how exceptional it was that I was included and invited along…. I was a few years younger, which can be a big difference…. I was a kind of mascot, I guess…. I was in love with Kirby and didn’t realize until later he and Martin had been lovers for a while…but later, I learned about it…. Martin was only too glad to share his love exploits with me…his mascot…which, at first, I was to stunned to really take in, but after a while, I just wanted more and more details of his fascinating stories. Was he boasting or processing as he talked? Both I think.

Kirby was enamored; Martin was, too, enamored with having fun with his boy-toy. He liked teasing Kirby out of himself with pranks like pulling off his bathing suit in the pool so he’d swim naked...daring him to do things kiss a statue in the museum, climb on roof tops, or break into neighbors houses just to look around….and, of course, lots of sex…hand jobs in dressing rooms of expensive department store’s, or covertly under the tablecloth’s of the country club restaurant…. The look on Kirby’s startled face was priceless as Martin used his stocking foot under the table to massage his young lovers crotch as the waiter was taking the order
