Marc Landon can hardly believe his eyes when he sees his beautiful neighbour masturbating in front of her attic window. Days later, she's there again, being flogged by an unseen assailant. He then stumbles through a hedge between the houses and discovers her having sex with a handsome workman.
Soon, the frightened Alia Gale arrives at Marc's door, begging him not to tell her husband, Harry, about what he's seen. She'll pay any price to keep him quiet. A cruel desire stirs in Marc as he listens to her beg, and he decides on a daily punishment ritual for the naughty wife. She arrives each morning naked and at the bottom of Marc's cellar stairs where the sessions begin. Marc quickly discovers an astounding desire to control the woman. Yet, Alia is not all she seems. She's telling half-truths and odd things are happening next door.
When, suddenly, Harry Gale asks Marc to spy on his wife, because he thinks she's taken a lover, Marc can only wonder if Harry knows about the illicit affair. The only thing he knows for sure in this game of sexual cat and mouse is how much he wants his neighbour’s wife. Can he extricate her from her husband's firm grip? And will she be worth the price he pays to have her?
