At just six years old, the boy moved into a house at the dead end of Raleigh Avenue with his older brother, his mother, her volatile girlfriend Barb, and their two loyal dogs. What should have been a fresh start quickly curdled into something darker. As his mother slid into addiction and their home fell into neglect and cruelty, the boy's young mind created something to make sense of it all: the Whispering Man.
A shadowed figure that watched from doorways, whispered from vents, and crept ever closer with every broken promise, every raised voice, every bruise.
This is not just a ghost story. It’s a raw, haunting look at how childhood trauma blurs the line between imagination and reality. Told through the eyes of a child losing his grip on safety, stability, and even sleep, 926 Raleigh Ave explores the invisible monsters that grow when love disappears, and the very real horrors that hide behind closed doors.
Unsettling, poignant, and deeply personal, this novella will linger long after the last whisper fades.
