The ghost of Christmas present visits three estranged friends. The littlest angel shows a writer what Christmas really means. An almost empty pickle jar, a dying father, and a family ethic motivate a young man. A cold December rain is held at bay by the sheltering warmth of a family. A young couple discovers a gift that keeps on giving, and a dog remembers Christmas past, and hopes for Christmas future.
These are adult stories of Christmas. Hope, joy, love, and friendship swirled together in a wassail bowl as a potion against the bone-chilling cold of winter, and the soul-chilling despair of being alone. Come drink the warmth of the magical draft and recapture that feeling of a contented Christmas.
