Take a life-changing journey into the heart of the dark ages in medieval England.
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court shares the funny and life-changing adventures of a Yankee engineer from Connecticut named Hank Morgan, who receives a severe blow to the head and finds himself transported through time and space to England during the reign of King Arthur.
After some initial confusion, Hank realizes that he is in the past, and he uses his knowledge to make King Arthur and his people believe that he is a powerful magician, and he becomes a rival of Merlin.
But soon his good fortune seems to be going down the drain when the powerful Catholic Church issues an interdict against him.
From then on, Hank Morgan feels like he’s constantly running uphill.
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is a wonderful comedy written by author Mark Twain after being inspired by a fantastic dream in which he was a knight himself. An engaging story that will keep you listening all night.
