Sarah J. Maas
A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming audiobooks.
Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.
A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.
Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Colleen Delany, Jon Vertullo, Amanda Forstrom, Shawn K. Jain, Nora Achrati, Karenna Foley, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Eva Wilhelm, Henry W. Kramer, Bianca Bryan, Renee Dorian, Matthew Bassett, Rob McFadyen, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Yasmin Tuazon, Matthew Schleigh, Nanette Savard, Dan Delgado, Michael John Casey, Alejandro Ruiz, and Samantha Cooper.

“To the blessed darkness from which we are born, and to which we return.”
This was lovely, I enjoyed it a lot.
This is the fourth book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
I stand by what I said back when I first read it, if it didn't have a scene that broke me and all the artists stuff it would be a three star read for me. It's cute, it's wintery and I love that and it's more of these characters that I love but the main story is kind of paused in here. So this is a cute novella in between books.
I keep trying to look for clues for what I know it's coming and what I don't but I never guess the big twists so I never find anything. It's fun to try though!
Again, my artist soul was very pleased with this story.
Next on my reread journey: A Court of Silver Flames!
Read 2022:
I almost cried in one scene. And I was so happy with many others.
This is a short story (yes, 229 is short in ACOTAR) after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin. It's part of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and it's kind of a bridge between A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Silver Flames.
I really liked it! I was scared that I would be bored by it but I enjoyed it a lot! It's true, it doesn't really add that much to the plot but it follows the characters (it's written in multiple points of view) in their lives after ACOWAR. It's not that exciting, it's not that incredible but my artist soul was really happy with it.
This is centered on family, art, friendships, dreams, future, hope, freedom, love and joy. But also on sadness, grief and loneliness.
I have to say, if there wasn't any of the artist stuff or one specific scene that almost made me cry, it would be a three star book cause it's there, it's cute but if it wasn't for those things I wouldn't have enjoyed it that much.
So, how long do you think will take me to stop resisting and finally start reading ACOSF?
