Hayleigh Gray is cursed. For real.
After losing her job, her savings, and her relationship, it's the discovery of a lump on her beloved horse’s neck that finally sends Hayleigh looking for solutions. And she knows where to start: Elk Ridge, Washington, a seemingly innocuous small town with a cliched winter festival and a whole lot of witches.
There, she crosses paths with Stephan Midwinter, an animal-rescuing artist with a reputation a mile long and a whole lot of magic that Hayleigh wants nothing to do with. Adamant that his coven wasn’t involved in the curse, he offers to help her find the real culprit and break the curse before Christmas Day.
As Hayleigh and Stephan face ancestral secrets, mischievous holiday spirits, and being snowed into the world’s kitschiest holiday train B&B, Hayleigh finds her heart opening to magic, and to Stephan.
But Stephan and his way of life are in direct opposition to everything she’s been taught to want. With the curse amping up and time running out, will Hayleigh embrace a new kind of holiday magic, or will she be trapped in the patterns of Christmas past?

Reseñas de la crítica
"With a gorgeous small-town setting, a yearning-filled slow burn romance, and plenty of holiday cheer, this sweet and spicy magical read ticked all my festive boxes. Morgan Lockhart has stolen my witchy Christmas heart!” —Catherine Walsh, bestselling author of Holiday Romance
"A delightful magical romp with just the right amounts of heart and steam. I loved the journey Hayleigh took to not only attempt to break her curse, but also learn to stand up for herself and honor her own convictions. It was a delight to read about Hayleigh and Stephan both individually healing their wounds all the while growing together in this festive, witchy romcom. Morgan Lockhart is an autobuy author from now on!" —Audrey Goldberg Ruoff, author of Hopelessly Teavoted and Vengefully Matched
"A Curse for Christmas Past feels like munching on a peppermint stick while magical Christmas lights twinkle around you—cozy, sweet, and just a little enchanted. The voice is sharp and charming from page one, balancing witchy holiday fun with deeper threads about family expectations, workplace pressures, and figuring out what kind of life actually makes you happy. Between snowed-in shenanigans and a heartfelt emotional arc, this is a holiday romance that absolutely glows." —Ann Adams, author of Racing Hearts
"A lovely tale of finding yourself and your heart, enriched with charming folklore and holiday spirit. A Curse for Christmas Past has immaculate vibes and is perfectly cozy for the holiday season!"
—A.T. Qureshi, USA Today bestselling author of the Baby Dragon Cafe
“Merry, magical, and made for readers who love a whimsical holiday romance! Perfectly balanced with an enchanting love story, witches, and a curse - Lockhart had me under a spell for the whole ride!” —Taylor Epperson, author of Second Time’s a Charm
"Even though A Curse for Christmas Past is a love story between a man and a woman, the story wouldn’t be told without the appearance of queer and non-binary characters. And isn’t that what we want to read? A story in which we belong, we exist, and nobody questions who we are?"
—Eulalie Magazine
"A Curse for Christmas Past is filled with magic and mayhem as Hayleigh finds herself with Stephan’s help, along with some of his other mystical friends and family." —Novels Alive
"With snowed-in vibes, cozy holiday charm and a touch of magic, A Curse for Christmas Past is the perfect festive read." —The Contented Reader
