Forgetful grandparents, a timid foster dog, and a dreaded gaga ball tournament make Daniel long for a place to belong.
Daniel needs a forever home. He lives with his grandparents, but hopes it is temporary. He’s tired of his grandparents forgetting to sign permission slips and pick him up from school. Grandpa is busy with his crazy inventions. Grandma brings home a stray dog that will take even more of her time.
After Daniel gets in a fight with a classmate and uses AI to write a report, his grandparents promise to do better. Grandpa decides to spend time with Daniel by entering them in the school gaga ball tournament, but Daniel knows that will be a disaster. Grandpa is just too old.
A Place for Daniel is a tale of friendship, loss, and an action-packed gagaball tournament that changes everything.
