A cosy murder mystery in which a cat detective plays a vital part…
Act It Out's re-enactments of scenes from the life of Mary Queen of Scots are not as innocent as they seem. Are the Act It Out historic tours a cover-up a for a Scottish drug distribution gang…?
Tasked by HM Revenue & Customs to investigate, undercover agent D J Smith and her sniffer cat Gorgonzola join a tour. Posing as Shelagh Macbeth from Historic Scotland, our intrepid heroine — and her cat ‘Lady M’ — become suspicious of their fellow guests: an eerily self-convinced reincarnation of the Scottish Queen, a fanatical bagpipe player and a sex-obsessed newlywed couple — all of them suspiciously bad actors.
When the drug dealing organisation realises it’s under investigation, the murders begin against the historic backdrops of Holyrood Palace, Loch Leven Island, the ruins of St Andrew’s Castle, and other places featuring in the life of Mary Queen of Scots.
Join DJ Smith and Gorgonzola on their latest adventure in this light-hearted cosy mystery that combines suspense, drama, history and comedy.
