Ari Fleischer was the Press Secretary for U.S. President George W. Bush from January 2001 to July 2003. Before serving as White House Press Secretary, Ari Fleischer served as press secretary to three congressmen and one senator. Fleischer authored Taking Heat: The President, The Press, and My Years in the White House, an introspective and analytical exploration of the major political events in the first half of the Bush administration.
