Once the only school of its kind, the Crane School of Music was the first institution to teach teachers specifically how to be music instructors. Alongside this historic institution is the New York Potsdam Museum. Founded in 1940, the museum's mission is to preserve and study the history of Potsdam and the surrounding areas. In this episode of Audio Journeys, our host Patricia L. Lawrence takes us on a warm and informative guided tour through both of these storied New York state institutions.
