In this story, I share from my perspective the divorce process I went through and how it affected my daughters. The facts and events presented here are real, as incredible as they may seem. There will be people who, upon reading my book, disagree with my version of facts, and that's understandable, but I repeat, here I present real events narrated from my perspective. My story is about domestic violence—but not the kind we’re most accustomed to hearing about. This is not a tale of violence against women. It’s about a mother who inflicted emotional abuse on the father of her daughters, and about the harm she caused her own children by alienating them from him. It’s a story of pain, manipulation, and the silent suffering that often goes unnoticed. The mother employed every tactic she could—hiding the girls, cutting off communication between them and their father, and doing everything possible to prevent him from exercising his parental rights. Her intent was clear: to deliberately cause him pain, even if it meant her own daughters would suffer in the process. Intentionally inflicting suffering on others is a form of violence, and that is precisely what my daughters’ mother did.In this story, I am not only recounting the domestic violence I experienced, but I am also exposing the child abuse my daughters suffered and how, over the years, that bond of love will hardly return. That is why alienating a child against a parent is a deeply harmful form of child abuse. If you're going through a divorce and feel your children are being turned against you—or if you want to understand a case where a father's rights were violated—this story may offer valuable insights. I share my experience not only to shed light on what happened, but also to help others avoid the mistakes I made.©2026 Jose Antonio Hinojosa (P)2026 Jose Antonio Hinojosa Crianza y familia Legislación
