Bye Bye Miss American Pie is the joyful, hilarious, and heartwarming true story of The Tuttles—Tim and Laura—two musicians who accidentally found their life’s calling in the world of children’s entertainment. What began as a simple birthday-party favor quickly grew into a vibrant career spanning daycare centers, summer camps, national tours, PBS specials, and even annual performances at the White House.

From chaotic preschool gymnasiums to thunderous festival crowds, from songwriting sessions at the kitchen table to Grammy nominations they never dreamed possible, Tim and Laura’s journey is a celebration of music, mischief, mishaps, and magic. Along the way, bears wander into pavilions, Canadian rock bands sabotage sound booths, toddlers stage tambourine uprisings, and entire camps lovingly impersonate The Tuttles in the ultimate July 4th prank.

But beneath the laughter lies the true legacy of their career: the countless children whose lives were brightened, inspired, and shaped by songs written with love, silliness, and heart. Through it all, Tim and Laura never forgot where they came from—or the small voices that lifted them higher than any stage ever could.

A memoir filled with warmth, humor, and unforgettable moments, Bye Bye Miss American Pie is a celebration of the joy that music brings and the extraordinary power of making children smile.
