Oops. Don’t count on trophies just yet. Across town, the brand new Lions team has a monster boy named Suchart who’s six inches taller than anybody else . . . and scary fast. No one else is gonna have a chance to win games unless they can figure out a way to stop this guy.

David just retired after fifteen super-cool years teaching math at San Bernardino Valley College. He and Lisa go for long morning walks in Newbury Park, California, and then he practices his bass guitar for weekend gigs at nearby churches.
