Billy is a young boy who lives in a house in England. One day, he is given a computer-generated emu, which is invisible to everyone but certain members of his family. Billy has a cousin named Colin, a librarian who finds a magical phoenix bookmark that sees him drawn into the stories that he reads.
This first collection from much-loved children’s author Merv Lambert contains the following short stories:
- 'Emu-Mail'
- 'M Behaving Badly'
- 'Colin the Librarian'
- 'Colin’s First Adventure'
Children will love the stories from Beware of the Emu, each of which is the perfect length for a bedtime reading or can simply be used to entertain at any time of the day.
Look out for more of Merv’s wonderful tales, available as eBooks and audiobooks and in print.
