Acerca de este título
Richard Alburtus Morrisey was an Afro-American biblical scholar, a doctor of divinity, and the pastor of a number of churches in Pennsylvania and in the South. In 1915, he published Bible History of the Negro in the hope of promoting the study of the Bible. The book brings together all the references to Black people in the scriptures, including Ham, son of Noah, Batsheba, Simon of Cyrene, Nimrod, Melchizedek, Hagar, Ishmael, Rahab, and Candace, queen of Ethiopia. It provides a detailed overview of all the relevant passages in scripture, and it caters to questions regarding race and the Bible.
