P.G. Wodehouse
The first three novels from comic master P.G. Wodehouse's saga of Blandings Castle and its fluffy-minded proprietor, Lord Emsworth. Beginning with two impecunious young American exiles infiltrating Blandings in the guise of servants, to recover the gem of Mr J Preston Peters' scarab collection from the Blandings museum. Then, the immaculate Psmith, borrowing the identity of an absconded Canadian poet, checks into Blandings in amiable pursuit of Eve Halliday, and becomes embroiled in a diamond heist. And finally, sundered hearts stalk the castle, as his lordship's disreputable brother, the Hon Galahad Threepwood, completes his scandalous memoirs, and Lord Emsworth's beloved prize pig, Empress of Blandings, is dramatically kidnapped!
