When Midhun is injured in a hit-and-run incident, no one can anticipate that the minor scrapes and wounds he has sustained will suddenly turn fatal. But that is exactly what happens, and after his death, his organs are donated and end up saving several lives.
Soon, however, his friends Rithu and Ragesh and his lover Sandhya begin to suspect there is more to the story than meets the eye. As they delve deeper into the chain of events and the people behind the religious fellowship they are all a part of, they discover that answers are hard to come by, justice elusive and closure next to impossible....
Following the lives of men and women caught in a web of criminally orchestrated accidents and medically induced comas, Benyamin's latest novel, Body and Blood, is by turns introspective and thrilling - a meditation on faith and God that also holds up a mirror to the power and corruption of organized religion.
