She came west to claim her father's ranch. Along with it, she inherited his fight.
Twenty-year-old Ruby Dunkin arrives in Montana expecting a new beginning, only to discover that her father left her thousands of acres—and a magnificent buffalo herd that he diligently protected.
With her father dead, ruthless hunters begin slaughtering the buffalo for their hides but Ruby vows to defend them. Her determination puts her in the crosshairs of powerful men, including Clarence Albert, a merciless hunter determined to destroy the herd in one massive hunt.
Ruby's ranch foreman, Wyatt Callahan, initially doubts that an Eastern girl can survive Montana. But as Ruby learns to ride, shoot, track, and fight for the land she loves, Wyatt discovers a woman whose courage and determination are impossible to resist.
As danger closes in, Ruby and Wyatt must stand together against men willing to kill for profit.
She came west for an inheritance.
She stayed to protect a legacy.
And she found a love worth fighting for.
Buffalo Woman is a sweeping historical Western of courage, romance, adventure, and one woman's determination to save the last great buffalo herd on the frontier.
