Here you have volumes I, II, and III of Castles in England, a Travelers' Guide combined in to a box set. It's a 60-castle tour in around 37,000 words. Inside you will hear about 60 of the most impressive and history-laden castles throughout England.
Since my childhood, I have been intrigued by castles. It started after a family holiday to Scarborough and being taken to see the castle there. Magnificent things centuries old. How did they build them way back then without the modern machinery and building techniques we have today? Remarkable feats of architecture, design, building, and magnificent in their purpose for both military and governance.
Each castle has its own fascinating history and tale to tell. And that's in addition to being wonderful places to visit and explore.
Whether you are planning on a visit to England or just have an interest in English history, you should enjoy my Castles in England box set.
