Life isn’t easy for a Mail Order Bride…especially when the bride isn’t sure she wants to be one in the first place. But when Naomi Paxton is left a young widow, her friend Kate suggests she apply to a bridal agency along with her. At a loss for what else to do, Naomi agrees, and is matched up with a young store owner named Steven Wragley in Rough Creek, Missouri.
To Naomi’s surprise, the person who greets her in Missouri isn’t her intended husband, but his mother. Even more surprising, Steven Wragley has no idea she’s coming. Worst of all, he’s dead set against the idea of Mail Order Brides.
As Naomi struggles to get used to life in her new town, she wonders what can possibly come next. Her new friends are certain happiness is just around the corner – and as she connects with a certain store owner at Christmastime, she dares to believe it herself.
