My name is Nadia, and I’m an errand girl.
Except my boss is the High Queen of the Elves.
And my errands for her involve spying on people. Or stealing things. Or hunting down monsters. Or, on occasion, killing people.
But this time she wants me to solve a murder.
And unless I find the killer, I’m going to be his next target...because dragons never forgive a murder.

"Hollis McCarthy narrates the continuing adventures of Nadia Moran as she hunts down whoever is summoning monsters. In a world of magic, monsters, and mayhem, Nadia finds herself reduced to a mere errand girl. A strange twist of fate tasks her with solving the murder of a dragon--or she'll be next on the chopping block. McCarthy excels at a variety of accents, smoothly portrays multiple genders, and captures the seductive tones of the dragons when they are in human form. Her narration transitions from humor to action to tenderness with aplomb. McCarthy is also perfect for the talented and dangerous Nadia while ensuring that the other colorful characters are just as dynamic. Fans of the series and newcomers will fall under the spell of this fantasy." (J.M.M., © AudioFile, 2021, Portland, Maine, published: July 2021)
