March 1945—the Nazis have tested their first atomic bomb, the West doesn’t want the world to know—and the Soviets are racing to claim it.
Desperate to keep nuclear technology out of Stalin’s hands, the Office of Strategic Services sends Scott Arlington on a one-way mission behind enemy lines. His objective: intercept the Nazi scientists, prevent the Soviets from seizing the German atomic facility, and erase all traces of the program—by any means necessary. If he succeeds, the West has a chance to win the atomic arms race, but if he fails, the Cold War may have started before WWII had a chance to end.
Based on real-world secret missions and discoveries—including Nazi uranium stockpiles, Soviet Trophy Brigades, and a possible German atomic test—Code Name: Atomic plunges the listener into the final, frantic months of World War II. From OSS sabotage runs and Allied bombing raids to Soviet psyops and the horrors of the Gulags, this isn’t just historical fiction—it’s a chilling glimpse into how close the world came to losing control of its future.
