Come and Welcome to Jesus Christ is perhaps one of the most powerful, and yet largely forgotten books on the subject of sin, redemption and the mercy of God. John Bunyan may be largely known for books like The Pilgrim’s Progress and The Life and Death of Mr. Badman, but he wrote a host of other life-changing books in his lifetime. This one in particular addresses some of the most common fears both believers and non-believers alike face. “Am I too sinful?” “Will Jesus really forgive me?” “Is it too late for me?”
Bunyan masterfully uses Scripture and his profound relationship with God to answer these questions, and bring a level of peace that sometimes evades us when we can’t solidify the answers to these questions.
This audiobook has had some minor updates, but for the most part is the same as the 1850 edition. A handful of outdated words have been replaced with more modern ones for greater clarity, although all of the “thees” and “thous” are as they have been from the 1800’s, and a short biography of John Bunyan's life has been added.
