She mourned the boy who never came back. She married the man who did. She just doesn't know they're the same person yet.

For twenty years, Kaida did what she was told. She was quiet, obedient, and waited, hoping the little boy she'd promised herself to at seven years old would come back for her. But when she's sold to the highest bidder in her father's kingdom auction, she loses all hope. She expects a fierce warlord. What she gets is a man whose eyes are achingly familiar and whose laugh she has heard before.

Dracon, Warlord King of the Kingdom of Flames, has spent thirteen years becoming the most feared dragon in any sky, all to win back the girl he promised to return to. He has crossed oceans and built a kingdom from nothing and carved a path through every obstacle her father put between them. He intends to tell her everything.

He is just waiting for the right moment, but the right moment keeps catching fire.

And her father has plans that go deeper than a kingdom auction. The girl who was never supposed to have power is about to discover she has more of it than anyone ever knew.

**Crowned in Cinder and Ash is a dragon shifter romantasy about a childhood promise, a secret kept too long, and two people who were always going to find their way back to each other, even if it took burning everything down to do it. It is a closed door romance.**
