Stan's bankruptcy client, Maureen Thompson, is accused of her husband's murder. Her alleged motive is the proceeds of a large insurance policy on her husband's life that would cure her financial woes. Stan enlists the Dallas Police and FBI to help out in their quest to prove Icaro Melendez ordered the murder of Romildo Alvarez but they still find themselves in mortal danger and wonder if they haven't made a big mistake in taking on such an impossible case.
