Jonathan wakes up in hospital and is told he has been involved in a car crash. He doesn't remember the last three months, and the doctors say he's only been there three days. He also doesn't remember the woman by his bedside who says she is his wife, but she has the pictures that seem to prove it.

The occasion for this novel, Dispossession, is very compelling: A man wakes up to learn he has been in a car accident. His wife is at his side, but he doesn't remember who she is. In fact, he doesn't remember anything from the last three months. His life becomes a detective story as he tries to piece together his past - but the future is more mysterious yet. Chaz Brenchley injects a dose of the supernatural into this unique thriller - just enough to keep you on your toes.
