Richard Davidson
Dating back to the Gas House Gang of the 1930s and up to the club’s most recent World Championship in 2006, being a Cardinal has meant a style of play, a level of dedication, and a pride in being a member of a special group. This newly updated edition of Game of My Life: St. Louis Cardinals exhibits not always the best game of someone’s career, but rather, the moment that stands out the most.

The St. Louis Cardinals are one of the most successful major league baseball teams of all time, and that rich history is revealed story by story in Game of My Life: St. Louis Cardinals. With a deep, resonant voice reminiscent of sports radio, Richard Davidson brings an expressive performance to this collection of firsthand tales straight from the players themselves, including Glen Brummer, whose dramatic accounts of stealing bases are imbued with an infectious excitement, and Jim Edmonds, whose overall excellent sportsmanship Davidson voices in a dignified, empathetic manner. The collection reaches a dramatic conclusion with an account of the Cardinals' World Series win of 2006 from David Freese, sure to keep Cardinals fans glued to their seats.
