The two women meet when they find work at the same souvenir shop. They become roommates and encounter the mystery of strange noises in the shed, as well as yardwork done by an unseen gardener.

He struggles between the intensity of his feelings for her and the knowledge that she needs time to recuperate, but their connection is undeniable. Before long, Nina finds her heart not only healing, but falling toward the one who seeks to catch it.
