The victims’ abdomens were then sliced and several organs were removed. This serial killer became known as Jack the Ripper. Jack the Ripper’s killing spree is believed to have ended with the murder of Mary Jane Kelly on 9th November 1888. But no one can be certain that Jack the Ripper never killed again, because he was never caught.

Indeed, the elusive assailant has assumed an almost legendary, superhuman status in the public's psyche, and yet little is known about him. Jude Beaumont leads this iMinds inquiry into the brutal 1888 murders of five impoverished London prostitutes. The television actress draws on chilling source material, including the three letters supposedly sent by the killer to the London Central News Agency, among them the infamous "From Hell" letter, wherein he claims to have eaten one of his victim's kidneys.
