The universe is ending, and the only thing standing in the way is three unlikely heroes, a bait shop, and a demon who won’t shut up.

Working at the local grocery store and surviving high school used to be the hard part.

Now the real problem? Time and space keep breaking.

The JackSkip Detective Agency (and bait shop—long story) is way out of its depth.

Reality is cracking open: demons are slipping through, alternate selves keep showing up, and something big, furious, and cosmic is behind it all.

Skip and Jack (careful, that’s trademarked by the Tuna Conglomerate) and Annabelle, aka A.B., are the victims of a bizarre pivotal location, a town that is at the center of a Universal Conflux of Doom.

Which means, unfortunately for them, they’re the ones who have to stop it.

Standing in their way: a homicidal deer, a completely unhinged cop, and a vengeful demigod whose name is basically a weapon.

Their backup?

A massive, wildly self-important demon who may be helping—or just yelling loud enough to sound useful.

Saving the world is going to take teamwork, luck, and a very loose understanding of how reality is supposed to work.

They have none of the above.
