Maauro has survived the terrors of the Barjan Deep. Armed with new information on her Creators, she sets out. Disaster strikes the hyperspace channel. Seachange is thrown into uncharted space. Maauro continues to recover from Wrik’s passing and to deepen her relationship with Dassa. This is complicated by new arrivals, the ancient drone, Draguar, rescued on Enshar and the human, Ash, who Dassa reluctantly recruited to keep Seachange from being impounded. Factions are beginning to form on Seachange as different agendas, hopes and dreams clash.
