Can these life-long enemies set aside their differences for the sake of a little girl and her horse?

Cormac Henderson is shocked when he discovered his friend from college has willed him half-interest in a high-dollar roping horse...and his daughter. But then he finds out that the woman who has hated him since high school is the person he's supposed to be sharing custody of both with. How could one piece of information twist up his life so fast?

Brooklyn Lepley is content baking and ranching with her sisters, going to farmers markets, and doing chores on their ranch. Her main goal in life is to stay away from Cormac Henderson, who humiliated her in high school and never showed a bit of remorse for it. Avoiding him is not the easiest thing to do in a small town like Sweet Water, especially since they've been tapped to man the kissing booth together for the summer festival. It becomes impossible when she is informed Cormac and she have inherited half-interest of a horse...and a little girl.

They have to work together for the good of the little girl, and as they do, they find that maybe the past doesn't have to define the future.
