Londoner Charlotte Cheshire and Brooklynite Anthony Monteleone are both having a blue Christmas: both dumped by their exes, both stranded at New York's John F. Kennedy airport, and both desperate for something to take their minds off the holiday.
After their chance meeting and realization that they are in a similar predicament, Charlotte suggests traveling into the city for an adventure, following the steps in a silly self-help book she has about getting over a broken heart, but Anthony thinks she must be nuts!
