It is an ordeal from which it will take her some time to recover, but every cloud has its silver lining, and she finds a ray of true happiness when romance comes calling at the door.

The Lake Garda Mysteries Volume 6. Nineteen-year-old Kim is finishing her first season of work around the beautiful lake. A dead body is found on the ferry, and the police are totally baffled and can make no further progress on the intractably difficult case. With immense reluctance, they call in the very unlikely assistance of a consulting detective, who single handedly cracks open the puzzle and goes on to solve the case. As always, there is some wry humor and a hint of romance floating in the air.
