Now deceased, the irrepressible golden retriever had been rescued from a shelter at an advanced age and given a second lease on life by author Martin Levin and his caretaker, Paula Drost. Angel's letters about her life and adventures with Levin and Drost evidence their unconditional love for her and impart precious lessons about life she was able to learn along the way because of their intervention. Levin's first book introducing Angel, All I Know About Management I Learned From My Dog, was licensed in six countries for translation months before publication.
