Is God angry, judgmental, and petty? Is God out to get us? Is God waiting to punish all the bad humans? Is God cold and distant? Is God really going to destroy everything in the end? Did God set us up for failure?
These are just a few of the many questions and thoughts people seem to have when it comes to how we think of God. This is why so many have walked away from the church or turned their backs on the religion they were handed. The pictures of God that have been painted in Sunday schools and from pulpits over the past several decades haven’t served us well.
This is a book about the possibility of a different way to think about the God of the Bible. A way that leads to more freedom and more grace. A way that leads us to seeing that the presence of God is always everywhere. A way that leads to seeing that all of life is a beautiful gift that’s meant to be experienced and enjoyed.
