Mirza Ghalib was an Urdu poet who is known for his unique and smooth style of writing. This book is a compilation of the events which happened throughout his life, along with few of the poems written by him. The poems in this book are an ideal listen for people who are fascinated by Urdu poetry but do not understand the nastaliq, the script in which Urdu is written.
The events which occurred during his lifetime were at the centre of what he described through his works. These include the decline of the Mughal empire, its displacement by the British Raj and the defeat of the Indian rebellion of 1857. This book, written by Prakash Pandit, also outlines other topics that he wrote about and the value systems which guided his literary works throughout his life.
