Additionally, it became pretty clear that someone was doing housekeeping on a cosmic scale, but doing so in a sneaky way intended to remove all the troublemakers from their purview.
The main problem? It was the troublemakers that were actually the ones keeping the cosmos safe. What to do in the end? No real good answer on that one. Right now, just trying to survive a millennia at a time.
