To adventure or not to adventure was a question Hailey Gordon never wanted to ask. Or answer. However, with her job and long-term relationship in Sydney in ruins, she is desperate for a fresh start. An unexpected opportunity in the French Alps offers her the escape she is looking for.

Matt Hanley, Hailey’s new boss, is a former investment banker who traded the high-stress world of banking for the high-altitude thrill of the mountains. He lives out of a hotel, doesn’t do punctuality and looks better in denim than any groom in a tuxedo, a lifestyle which causes Hailey to hug her Jimmy Choos like a comfort blanket.

Hailey is determined to keep her head down and her heart locked tight. She’s a city girl through and through while Matt is…well, he’s a force of nature. Matt is equally determined to pull Hailey out of her comfort zone and show her that sometimes the only way to scale the heights is to stop playing it safe.
