Just like part one, Loved Ones Lost, this book will not disappoint. It continues to take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. After losing his father and youngest brother, Matthew found out that, 325 years ago, his mother’s bloodline was given a curse. One that bestows different paranormal powers to each living family member in the event of a tragedy.
All the supernatural beings he’s ever heard about are real; his mother is a Ghost Whisperer, his father is a ghost she can summon, one of his younger twin sisters is a witch, and he is an Empath. On top of that, a vampire detective revealed that his maternal grandparents were murdered by a vengeful dark witch. His other younger twin sister moved to California to start a career with Capitol Records, and his remaining younger brother was offered a sponsorship at NASCAR.
During an attack on the home, his girlfriend’s psychic powers were activated. Realizing that he needed to step up and become a leader in the family, he finished college early and asked Destiny to marry him. Will she say yes? How powerful of an Empath will Matthew become? What more is to happen with this supernatural family?
The Edgewater Curse continues to take Matthew and his family by storm in this, book two, Loved Ones Reassured.
