For Volkaan Berkochi, that world had always been made of stars.

The idea came quietly—one night, while watching the sky from his California window. The moon hung low, trembling on the horizon, and he thought: Every planet must have a story. Every orbit, a feeling. Every light, a memory.

From that thought, Lumen Mercury was born—a book not only about the smallest planet, but about the restless messenger within us all. It was science, myth, and poetry woven together—a dance of intellect and heart. Mercury's swiftness mirrored the poet's mind; his heat, the burning of creation.
