From the author:

I'm a defector-turned-architect. I spent fifteen years inside the machinery of law and policy, close enough to power to see exactly how it's built, and then a sex trafficking case broke something open that couldn't be unseen. I took the structural literacy I'd earned in the courtroom and the boardroom and pointed it at governance itself—first inward, at myself and other leaders (Matriarch Makeover), then outward, at institutions. My calling is designing the successor governance—for the self and for institutions—to the patriarchal, colonial structures I was trained inside of and walked away from. My Latvian citizenship, the pirts tradition, the good-guest relationship with Indigenous teachers, the legal training I didn't discard but repurposed—those aren't separate threads. They're my source material and my credentials for doing this specific work. I am particularly committed to advancing ecological leadership and restoring pathways for matriarchal wisdom in modern governance.
