"A Big John Kellerman Adventure: Men of Iron Will is a sweeping epic that takes one man through the Civil War and beyond. This is action, adventure and gunplay all rolled together from one of the great Western storytellers of today..." Douglas R. Cobb!
In Cobb’s novel, Men of Iron Will, we meet Big John Kellerman, a man on a mission to avenge the destruction of his hometown by one of the infamous guerrilla warfare groups of the Confederate army. Kellerman joins the Pinkerton agency, and he successfully foils what could have been a disastrous plot to destroy the still-healing Union. After this success, Allen Pinkerton pairs John with Pauline Dougherty, and the two are sent on another important assignment. Men of Iron Will explores some of the darker aspects of the American Civil War - the evil sides of men and how they showed their loyalty to the Confederacy.
