Acerca de este título
1st presentation: "Ministry as Affecting the Minister": 2nd presentation: "Moral Loneliness within Life" and "Ministry as Affecting the Minister" :Ministry as both a Faith-drama and an Ego-drama. Schools of ministry are good at preparing us in how to do ministry. They are less adept in preparing us in terms of what ministry will do to us. How do we cope with the grandiosity that is triggered by success? How do we deal with the anger and bitterness that besets us when our ministry is going badly? How do we handle our sexuality inside all of this? How much of our ministry is a faith-drama and how much is an ego-drama? Perspectives from scripture, mysticism, anthropology, and psychology help to shed some light on this. "Moral Loneliness within Life and Ministry:The Deeper Reality" beneath our Longing For A Soulmate. Our deepest loneliness is not emotional but moral, more than we long for someone to sleep with sexually, we long for someone to sleep with morally. In our depth we often feel like unanimity-minus-one. Hence our poignant longing for a soulmate. What is moral loneliness? How is it related to the image and likeness of God inside of us? How does it play out in our lives and ministry? What is its invitation to deeper grace and what are its dangers?
