Karen Miller was struggling with the many demands of her life. She had moved to New York City to help care for her grandfather and taken on a very challenging job with a computer firm that called on her day and night. She had no time for a relationship, or so she told herself after a difficult break-up. But that started to change after fate introduced her to Terry Adams, a kind stranger who helped her after she took a bad fall on the icy sidewalk.
Terry was a single father who had lost his wife several years before. Like Karen, he was a bit overwhelmed by the demands of his job and the care needed for his young son. Neither was looking for a relationship, but both felt a bond that haunted them.
Could fate intervene a second time in the form of Niels, a kind old stranger? Miss Miller’s Christmas is a story of overcoming the stresses of life and listening to our hearts.
Readers of Robert A. Valle’s prior Christmas novellas will also enjoy the appearance of some of his prior characters.
