Written in diary format for children ages 6-8, this story follows a creative child who learns important lessons about honesty. Through a series of everyday mishaps and imaginative excuses, the story teaches young listeners why telling the truth matters from a Christian perspective, using age-appropriate Bible verses to reinforce the message. The story follows Jace’s journey throughout a school week as he faces the temptation to make up elaborate excuses, but gradually learns the value and freedom that comes with honesty. Each entry contrasts Jace's creative excuse with what actually happened, helping children understand the difference between imagination and dishonesty. Perfect for classrooms, libraries, and playing aloud!
