I liked the first 3/4 of the story, good characters and relationship development. And I get what the author was trying to convey about the female character needing to work on herself before she could be ready for a future with anyone, but it was a year that went by in 4 minutes when the previous 4 months took hours. The super sexy all in hero also suddenly got a little too mean and angry and the heroine became a puddle of tears. It didn’t ring true with the rest of the story. All in all I had fun listening to the story and couldn’t wait to see what was next.

It’s always nice when a player falls for the good girl even if she is carrying some baggage.
