An extraordinary combination of a rich heartfelt autobiography and astute social history!
In One Year is Not Enough Robert Musgrave (Robsky) MBE, takes us on a journey from unlikely beginnings to arrive at the Winstanley, York Gardens Estates, Batterse in the heart of one of the most deprived areas of London, where over 50 years he charts through stories, diary extracts, and keen observation, the lives of a community as it struggles through economic and social upheaval, riots, cuts in public spending, regeneration and gentrification, to retain a sense of itself, supported and nurtured by the people, youth workers and volunteers that created a living, vibrant, at times chaotic, community space that is Providence House!
It is a personal story of faith and tenacity that has impacted many lives.
